Tunnel inlet doors make sense and save dollars! Now is the season to look at updating your tunnel inlet curtain. With today's new tunnel doors, you can be assured of energy savings in the winter and a better airflow pattern in the other seasons. These doors replace the existing inlet curtain with a solid door (some rated to R-10) to save energy. Using a tunnel inlet door will also allow you to mount an evaporative cooling pad directly on the side of the poultry house. This can save money spent on a 'dog house', and the savings realized may be invested in tunnel doors instead. We think this is a great idea for both new housing and retrofit! A link to the Chore-Time manual for tunnel inlet doors is located here. NEWS September 29, 2006 Tube heaters and stir fans are proving to be popular to save fuel and increase performance. We carry a full line of stir fans including:
Tube heaters have been enormously popular lately. We feel that tube heat will be the industry standard in only a few years. Advantages of the tube heaters include:

NEWS July 5, 2006 Palmetto adds software downloads of Chore-tronics 2 software. This download library (and instruction page) will enable you to update the software of your Chore-Time Choretronics 2 control to the latest and most current version. Also, you may need this software after a lightning strike, board replacement, or other repair. We will maintain this download area with the latest software and instructions as well as keeping a historical copy of each available version. Find the software in our Chore-Tronics 2 Software Downloads Area, and like our other files may be searched by using "Choretronics" or "Chore-Tronics 2" in the search box of the home page.
NEWS August 18, 2005 Palmetto adds enhanced Parts Search including Pictures! We are experimenting with a new system to help make parts easier to locate. This system is based on the search feature found on our Home Page. Currently we have available several popular Chore-Time products available under this system. These include some ATF Grow-Out Feeder components, Flex-Auger components, C2 and C2+ components, Ceiling winch, Chore-Tronics etc. More are being added as possible, so check back if you don't see what you are looking for. How It Works...Just put a word or two in the search box and click "Search". This will search all of our files and return a listing. If you are looking for parts, look over the titles and chose the best match for what you are looking for. Normally the illustrated parts breakdown is titled "PARTS". Click this title and you will be taken to the page. Many of the most common parts also have a picture available to you...Just click on the part number in the listing. Want to see some examples? We hope this will be as useful for you as it is for us!

NEWS November 08, 2004 We will soon be announcing the official release of C-Connect & C-Link. This is a wireless access system designed to work with your Chore-Time Choretronics controls and the C-Central software package. NEWS March 25, 2004 Palmetto Sales adds more content to the Projects Section. Steel & Copper prices take a "Hike" uphill. Pictures are now available in the OUR PROJECTS section of some of our recent jobs. These include our latest "turn-key" Gold Kist broiler operations for Par 3 Poultry and the Smith Farm. Special thanks to Barry Berry, Clint Berry, & Benjy Smith! Steel prices have been skyrocketing in the last few weeks. This has resulted in price increases from almost all of our vendors including Chore-Time. Lumber prices are also on the rise. Unfortunately, we are revising some of our pricing due to these increases as well. We expect, hope and pray for some relief soon. Steel scrap (#1) was recently bringing almost 10 cents a pound! Might be a good time to clean up the shop and get rid of those old appliances you have in the yard! Copper and Aluminum are also at near record prices which will affect our electrical projects as well. NEWS October 24, 2003

To help you Shrimpers, we will publish a link to the NOAA site for TIDE TABLES during shrimp baiting season. Thanks for the good ideas....Keep them coming!
